No information logged We do not share information with third parties. Search function

We use Meilisearch for the search function. Your search string would be sent to an external hosting service provider for pattern matching against a key-value store database. Information including your IP address, browser agent, date and time of request, search string would be recorded in the external hosting service provider.

Sentry

We use Sentry.io for the browser error reporting. If there are browser errors or JavaScript errors, diagnostic info would be sent to external hosting service provider for troubleshooting. Information including your IP address, browser agent, date and time of request, URL would be recorded in the external hosting service provider.

About the comment system

The comment system is operated by Disqus. All users login, password and their comments are stored in Disqus, not this website. Inside Disqus, posting a comment may go through their system for anti-spam checking. Check below for links of the privacy policy of the above company/companies.

   • GoatCounter is one of the analytics application. According to the link in Goat Counter about GDPR , it does not require a consent notice. But for this website, I try my best to integrate GoatCounter with Cookie Consent, if there is no consent from the user, the GoatCounter tracking does not trigger.

     Currently, the default behavior of GoatCounter does not honor DNT (do not track). If it is honored, there would be very very few stats and the stats would not be useful at all.

Google Web Fonts

Google Web Fonts and fonts in CDN are used in this website. Your browser would make direct connection to Google server and other CDN servers. Your information including source IP, user agent, timestamp and etc, may be recorded when you make the connection.
