The Queensland police officers challenging their Commissioner’s vaccine order in the courts could lose their jobs if their cases fail, according to one of the state’s top cops.

Two groups of police officers and staff are running separate legal challenges in the Supreme Court, with one case involving 24 police employees and the other involving seven.

There had also been a third legal challenge by police officers and staff before the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission, but that case was dismissed last week.

The newest case will return to the Supreme Court on December 10 for a review, while the longer-running case has been set down for a three-day hearing on December 20-22.

Police officers and staff were ordered to have their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine by October 4, and both doses by January 23 next year.

More than 99 per cent of the Queensland Police Service’s 17,200 staff have been vaccinated or have been granted an exemption after providing valid reasons why they cannot get the jab.

As of this week, across the service, 82 police officers and 54 staff members have been suspended for not being vaccinated or providing an exemption. Police Minister Mark Ryan said he did not expect police resources would be stretched by the number of officers and staff suspended for refusing to comply with the vaccine mandate.

“I’ve got assurances from the Commissioner that all of that is being closely monitored and there’s sufficient resourcing,” he said on Thursday. “We’re only dealing with a handful of people.”

Acting Assistant Commissioner Virginia Nelson, who oversees the Ethical Standards Command internal investigation branch, said police staff involved in both cases would be open to misconduct proceedings if they lost their cases and the court order protecting them was revoked.

A court order preventing the Queensland Police Service from taking action against the applicants over their vaccination status was put in place to allow the legal challenges to run their course.

However, if they lose their cases, the deadline set by Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll for officers to get their first dose has already passed, and the deadline for the second dose is looming. “I fully support the Commissioner’s direction,” Acting Assistant Commissioner Nelson said. “To contravene the Commission’s direction is essentially misconduct, and members of the service can be sanctioned or dismissed.

“So the Ethical Standards Command will have the responsibility for conducting the various investigations where members have failed to comply with the Commission’s direction. “Ethical Standards Command investigations are subject to any findings of any court in any event, but we’re a police organisation and our responsibility is community safety.

“The purpose of the directions are around … keeping a healthy workforce, maintaining a safe workplace for our people, and that we are safe when we are interacting with our community.”

The Queensland State Government is tracking a dangerous path here !

They believe that the key to higher poll numbers is being seen-to-be “tough on Covid“, as opposed to actually governing effectively. As they lack the ability for the latter, it is all about the optics of how they respond to Covid. Going for appearance rather than substance is nothing new. However, the problem in this instance is their “tough on covid” actions are just a nonsense. They take away our personal freedoms, while doing nothing about Covid. And, reality-check, Covid has always been at near-zero levels anyway…

This letter was sent to all staff in state government’s Department of Education. In typical jack-boot style, the announcement is broad-ranging and even applies to “contractors, volunteers, regulators, and auditors“, not just employees of the state government.

Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020-2021

Huge crowds of protesters descended on central Melbourne and Sydney on Saturday as part of organised rallies across the country against mandatory vaccinations.

The Millions March Against Mandatory Vaccination group organised protests on Saturday in 30 cities and towns across Australia. A large crowd converged on Melbourne’s state parliament with live video footage from a news helicopter showing a massive group of people blocking Spring Street, some holding banners or beating drums.

Such protests have been going on for weeks but the situation worsened after thousands of workers across various sectors were required to show their proof of vaccination in order to continue work.

An Open Letter to The Right Honourable Peter Dutton

Dear Peter

It is with great sadness that I write this letter to you from many concerned citizens in your electorate. The country that I have known and loved for so long has gone mad. Everything is turned upside down. We feel we have no option but to try and take whatever action we can to try and restore balance to our country which is now viewed as a pariah state by many democratic nations overseas.

I never thought I would see the day when our government would deploy troops against its own people! What were you thinking? That all of these restrictions on our civil liberties have been instituted under a federal Liberal government is outrageous. The “Our Beliefs” page on the Liberal Party website states:

We Believe: In the inalienable rights and freedoms of all peoples; and we work towards a lean government that minimises interference in our daily lives; and maximises individual and private sector initiative. In government that nurtures and encourages its citizens through incentive, rather than putting limits on people through the punishing disincentives of burdensome taxes and the stifling structures of Labor’s corporate state and bureaucratic red tape. In those most basic freedoms of parliamentary democracy – the freedom of thought, worship, speech and association…

In the last 18 months you have trampled all of these beliefs into the dust.

Your federal government has created the abomination of the “National Cabinet” giving free rein to power mad dictatorial State premiers and unelected Chief Health Officers (some of whom have not practiced medicine for decades) while standing back and letting it all happen.
You have crushed small businesses and tourism. Locked people up in their own homes for no gain. Quarantine is the confinement of sick people; locking up healthy people is called tyranny.
You have enforced your health mandates on many people who don’t agree with them.
You are blackmailing and coercing the population to take an experimental medication that has not been properly tested. You seem to be intent on destroying the lives of those who will not bend to your demands.
You have allowed the TGA to ban doctors from prescribing effective medicines that have been used safely for decades (Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine).
You have banned doctors from testing patients for COVID antibodies.
You have redefined the meaning of herd immunity to exclude natural immune response to disease. The definition of a vaccine has also been changed to accommodate the leaky jabs you are forcing people to take.
You have allowed the waste of billions of dollars on useless tests on people who are not sick. How many hospitals could have been built with that money?

I have no doubt that we as a group have the power to ensure you are not returned at the next election unless these travesties are reversed. Leave people to make their own decisions regarding their own health and level of risk they are willing to accept in their own lives. There must be:

No vaccine mandates.
No Mask mandates.
No more lockdowns.
No banning of safe medicines.
No recriminations for those who do not want the vaccine.
An end to trying to scare the population into compliance. It is the job of government, as it was in World War II and other times of trouble, to reassure the populace, encourage them and to fill them with hope. Not to, as your government has done to your shame, threaten, blackmail and needlessly scare them into compliance.
No restrictions on school attendance. You have sown the seeds of years of mental problems for many of our children.
Dissolution of the disastrous National Cabinet.

There is time to turn back! I only hope this gives you pause for thought, as should the sound of the never-ending ambulance sirens that are in our streets, attending self-harm victims and other injuries created by your mandates. Our hospitals in Queensland are over-run when we’ve only had a handful of cases! Why?

Nearly two years ago this all started with “2 weeks to flatten the curve” that sounded sensible. However, since that prudent beginning, the federal and state governments have embarked on a totalitarian path which is descending into tyranny.

What will be your legacy? Will you be on the right side of history? Is this the future you want for your children? It is certainly not what we want for our children and grandchildren and that is why we are outside your office on this Saturday morning.

Give the people hope that your government is not here to crush us. I am hoping you will address our concerns in your constituency newsletter and give us reason not to vote you out at the next election.

This site is for those who love Australia, warts and all; those who love her institutions, the history of those institutions, and the history of the institutions on which ours have been built. It is for those who thought that our Parliaments, our Constitution, our common law and our courts were as dedicated to our freedoms as we are. It is for those who thought that their fellow Australians loved out freedoms as much as we did.

The attack on Australian citizens by our Parliamentarians, police, magistrates, judges and, primarily, our media is unprecedented in its scale and ambition. Members of our Parliaments enjoy their time off from tedious sittings, and when they do sit, they push through destructive legislation by the trolley-load. The tendency of Westminster legislatures to become the uncritical tools of executive government has been fully developed. The separate power of the Legislatures has been exposed as a total sham, as it has been de facto for many years. Australia has become a Uni-Party State, where Liberals, LNP and Labor all agree on the fundamentals of SARS-CoV-2 and Covid-19 tyranny.

What about the separate power of the judiciary? To ask the question is to answer it. As far as I know, only a few fringe groups of lawyers had raised any concerns about the current tyranny.

Without the enthusiastic cooperation of the main-stream media, the MSM, this could not have happened. The “fourth estate” is just another separate power that has been co-opted by the juggernaut that is destroying Australian Parliamentary democracy, and that of almost every other Western democracy.

All we have to fight back against this hostile takeover is our own determination to resist, and our spiritual resources. Yet such resources have brought down mature tyrannies. Ours is still a baby, and by resolutely opposing it now, we, God willing, will be able to bring it back to decency and integrity.

Welcome to the Gulag-News campaign page for the electorate of Dickson. You are probably here because you have read one of our flyers and are wondering what you can do about the alarming intrusions of Queensland government into our lives as a result of their panicked over reaction to the COVID virus. We are living through very disturbing times where the norms of our democracy are being dismantled.

No matter whether you think the COVID injection is a good idea or not you should be appalled to see this medical intervention forced on people who do not want it. And make no mistake they are being forced, it is no free choice when your government wants to destroy your life and livelihood if you will not accept the medical procedure. This is against the Nuremburg convention.

Australians have always been responsible for their own health and should be able to make their own decisions, in consultation with their own doctor if they see fit, with regard to vaccination, mask wearing and whether they want to go outside or not. If you think these things are a good idea you are quite at liberty to do them. We have always been able to decide for ourselves with what we eat, what medicines we take and if we exercise or not. Now is the time to make a stand, if we allow these alarming enforcements to continue without objection they will be emboldened to micro-manage every aspect of our lives - what we do, where we go and who we meet. We must take a stand now if we want to avoid this totalitarian future.

We will be holding protests at 10-30am on the 2nd Saturday of each month until the election around May next year. outside Peter Dutton’s Strathpine office and bring as many people along as you can, if we can’t raise a significant number of people he can afford to ignore us. This will be a peaceful protest of about 30 to 45 minutes duration to allow the maximum number of people to assemble, you can bring appropriate signs and banners if you wish. If we don’t take a stand now it will be too late. If Peter Dutton thinks his seat is at risk he will hopefully address our issues. If he does not, we the people will let him know what we think at next year’s election!!
